Chockecherries - Prunus Virginiana

Chockecherries,

I got some chockecherries - plant name: Prunus Virginiana. at our local Farmer's market. I confess this was the first time I had seen chockecherries. They're such beautiful type of berry. I made some jam with them. They have a good amount of calcium and fiber. The jam is delicious. If you ever see it at your famer's market take some home, it's worth the trouble.

Vi pela primeira vez essas Chockecherries outro nome e bitter berries, amoras amargas. Sao perfeitas pra fazer geleia. Comprei e fiz 5 vidros de geleia e tambem sao otimas com pancakes. Se encontrar a mesma compre e prepare uma geleia pois vale a pena. Tem calcium e fibras. (Desculpe, nao ha acentos nas palavras, estou usando outro computador que nao tem um programa pra outras linguas como Portugues, etc.) * Todas fotos foram tiradas por min.

O sabor estava otimo com um pao de trigo integral feito pelo marido que e o padeiro da casa :)
